Well - i took a chance this would also work in the convertible. The camera is great, crisp & clear, although it would be preferable if it could mount to the license plate fram instead of drilling holes in the car. The install instructions are the same as the hardtop, and the display is crisp and bright. Everything has a "factory" appearance like I'd hoped. Unfortunately the mirror is just too large and is impeded by the light overhead in the convertible such that the mirror cannot be adjusted for normal driving. I was looking for a one-stop solution to adding the backup camera, and while everything is top notch quality, the included mirror just doesn't work in the convertible. (Posted on 4/21/11)

The backup wire was the last thing I installed... I had no Idea if power was being supplied through the harness, you proably don't either. So you won't know until you first try to activate the mirror.

The backup wire @2.00 in the video was a of a pain to connect. I ended up buying a "Snap T-Tab wire splice" from Radio Shack. It made the connection sooo much easier

Be aware that the picture of the connector for the backup wire is from the pin side, not the wire side, so it is essentially backwards.

You will be shocked that the mirror looks HUGE, My Camaro club buddys made that their first observation.

The camera has no adjustment so when drilling the mounting holes make sure that they are straight otherwise the camera will be crooked.
