SEMA 2015

As we close out 2015 and look back on another successful appearance at SEMA, we are grateful for bringing home an award, but also a confirmation of customer needs and evolving market trends.

Brandmotion was crowned SEMA PRO Council’s 2015-2016 Manufacturer of the Year at SEMA this year.  We were humbled and maybe a little surprised to be taking this award home as a company that just celebrated its 10th anniversary.  But, we take it as strong encouragement to keep doing what we have been doing in terms of product quality, design and customer care. Thanks to all of you who voted for us.

At the show, we debuted a range of new vehicle safety accessories, including one that takes Brandmotion into the emerging Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) category.

New safety technology such as forward crash avoidance and lane departure warning devices are becoming more common on vehicles rolling off assembly lines. For vehicles without the technology, the ADAS+ is an easy-to-install accessory that gives drivers the same features they’d find on newer vehicles with high-end trim levels. The ADAS+ provides drivers with frontal collision and lane departure warnings utilizing a sophisticated HD camera. In the event of an accident, the system also features a DVR that automatically creates a video event when the unit senses an impact, or, manual recording with the touch of a button.

As back up cameras become mandatory over the next few years, new camera systems will improve on the benefits and user experience. Brandmotion’s newest 360º Vision System provides drivers with a full 360º view of their vehicle’s surroundings.  The first system released is for 2004-2015 Ford F-Series trucks, with a number of other vehicle-specific solutions in the coming months, including the Jeep Wrangler.  For that vehicle, a 360 vision system bring huge additional benefits when trail riding or hill climbing.   Imagine, no rock or tree branch spotter required!

In addition to ADAS+, our new Mobileye display mirror allows vehicle owners with the Mobileye 560 System to swap out their existing Eyewatch display for an Authentic OEM frameless mirror with embedded Mobileye display. The new mirror gives the vehicle a factory look with no exposed cables or adhesive-mounted, dash displays.  Seamless integration for a popular aftermarket collision avoidance system.

Rounding out a strong new product lineup at SEMA was our updated Curb Alert parking sensor, the Curb Alert Park View PRO and its complementary line of new dual camera display interfaces for factory displays. Park View PRO features infrared parking sensing with the addition of a signal output to activate an interface’s second (front facing) camera input. A view of what’s in front of the vehicle is activated as the vehicle approaches a curb, or wall, letting the driver know exactly how close their vehicle’s front end is.

These unique new vehicle accessories are part of Brandmotion’s evolving product line-up. Expect more new and exciting announcements as the year progresses, and thank you again from all of us, for making us the SEMA PRO Council 2015-16 Manufacturer of the Year.
