This product is compatible with all 2007-2012 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra vehicles. If your vehicle is a GMC Sierra with the Denali package, you will need to also purchase the installation jumper harness required for those vehicles.

Q: What special tools are needed for installation?
A: socket set, tox bits, 1" & 1 1/8" hole saw
Q: Will I need to reprogram anything in the vehicle?
A: No
Q: My tailgate handle doesn't have a lock - are handles available without the hole for the lock, or can a lock be added?
A: The bezel has a hole for tailgates with locks. We provide a plug in our kit to cover up the hole in the handle if you don't have a lock. You can also add the lock cylinder (GM# 25775278) from your local dealer, if you wish to have a locking tailgate.
Q: If I purchase the mirror version of the product and later want to upgrade to a navigation radio in my vehicle, can I use the same harness to connect to my vehicle?
A: No, these are two different harnesses.
