  • Brandmotion Loft Lite™ Takes New Product Runner-Up at SEMA 2012

Advanced, flexible lighting system garners Mobile Electronics award

Las Vegas, November 5, 2012 – Product judges appointed by the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) gave runner-up honors in the New Product – Mobile Electronics category to Brandmotion for the company’s Loft Lite interior vehicle lighting system. The award was announced October 30 during the SEMA 2012 Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas.

“We are proud of this recognition,” said Jeff Varick, president of Brandmotion. “With a tagline like ‘Authentic OEM,’ our products have to deliver the look, feel and function of factory-installed equipment. Our Loft Lites live up to the challenge, at the same time offering aftermarket mounting flexibility.”

The Loft Lite is a small, easy to install pod housing that can mount just about anywhere in a vehicle interior and provide a look and function as though it was installed on the assembly line. The flush-mounted, rounded bezel surrounds a focused LED that requires less than 1/5th the power of an incandescent lamp and provides a steady light output regardless of voltage. The most common application is to mount one Loft Lite over each seat in the vehicle to give every passenger personalized lighting suitable for reading or eating, similar to aircraft lighting. Loft Lites are also ideal for mounting on a truck tailgate or in the trunk or luggage compartment. Best of all, Loft Lites do not impair the driver’s ability to see at night.

Intuitive soft-touch switching allows the operator to simply press the lens to turn the light on and off. Loft Lites can also be wired into the existing lighting system to illuminate when a door is opened. And because they use LED technology with 10 times more operating life than standard lights, Loft Lites require no service or replacement for the life of the vehicle.

The Brandmotion Loft Lite was inspired by the company’s “Urban Loft” concept it introduced as part of the FIAT Partner Program competition in 2011. Brandmotion’s winning presentation was based on the idea of building a comfortable, personalized yet intuitively functional environment within the 2012 FIAT 500.

Loft Lites are available to expeditors and retailers in two kits based on quantity:
    • Part No. 2000-4202– 2-pack Loft Lite lighting system with wiring and instructions
    • Part No. 2000-4204 – 4-pack Loft Lite lighting system with wiring and instructions

  • Brandmotion Ships Bongiovi DPS Solution for Car Audio

Groundbreaking audio technology will be on display at Brandmotion’s SEMA show booth

Las Vegas, November 1, 2012 – Not everyone views customization in the same way. One vehicle owner may opt to completely replace his factory system with aftermarket components, while another will choose to enhance what is already there. Brandmotion is built to service the latter, and at this year’s Specialty Equipment Market Show, October 30 – November 2, the premier supplier of high-quality Authentic OEM™ products for cars and trucks will introduce the ultimate factory audio system enhancement.

Bongiovi DPS (Digital Power Station) is engineered by Bongiovi Acoustics to expand the listening environment of any car stereo system, and the technology has won awards for several applications including apps and embedded audio. The car audio variant is a single plug-and-play module that contains embedded profiles for each specific vehicle make and model and integrates directly with the factory audio wiring, meaning consumers hear extended frequency response and sonic improvement without having to change how they interact with their factory audio system.

Brandmotion is the exclusive U.S. distributor of Bongiovi DPS for car audio, releasing three versions to work with more than 35 models of General Motors and Toyota vehicles. Each kit includes the Bongiovi DPS module and a vehicle-specific harness to eliminate the potentially damaging process of cutting and splicing that it typical with aftermarket installations.

“This is exactly the type of product we strive to bring to our customers and their customers,” said Jeff Varick, president of Brandmotion. “We have enjoyed working with Bongiovi to bring this groundbreaking technology to the automotive world in a significant way. By utilizing the reach of both our companies, we are able to apply Bongiovi DPS to specific vehicles and provide a remarkable audio enhancement for consumers.”

At the SEMA Show, Bongiovi DPS will be demonstrated in Brandmotion’s 2013 Chevy Sonic in booth #11469 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. For more information, contact Brandmotion at (734) 619-1250, visit Brandmotion’s website at, or follow Brandmotion on Facebook at

  • Brandmotion Connects the Drive to the Dwelling with HomeLink®

Trusted technology available as a stand-alone solution

Las Vegas, October 31, 2012 – Brandmotion, supplier of Authentic OEM™ products that provide aftermarket vehicle customization with a factory look and feel, will be showcasing the new series of HomeLink® by Johnson Controls in-vehicle controllers at the 2012 Specialty Equipment market Association (SEMA) Show, held October 30 – November 2 and the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas. The announcement follows a new agreement that makes Brandmotion a distributor for HomeLink products.

"We are very pleased to be a HomeLink distributor," said Jeff Varick, president of Brandmotion. "We’ve worked hard to align Brandmotion with factory installed products available in the aftermarket. The Johnson Controls HomeLink product has won many awards over the years for its reliability and function in vehicles, and we are excited to bring such a high consumer-demand product to our customers."

The HomeLink product being shown at SEMA is a new design, based on substantial feedback from professional installation technicians. This new design features a control center that can be mounted on any flat surface with applicable space, rather than just at the visor. In addition, the control module is configured so it can be installed in more locations in the vehicle.

In order to maintain the factory look and feel of the vehicle, Brandmotion is offering HomeLink in four kits, each with colored bezels to match most vehicle interiors:

    • Part No. 2000-4100 – HomeLink module with Black, Gray and Tan bezels
    • Part No. 2000-4101 – HomeLink module with Black bezel
    • Part No. 2000-4002 – HomeLink module with Tan bezel
    • Part No. 2000-4103 – HomeLink module with Gray bezel

  • Award-winning Infinity Mirror Shipping With HomeLink®

Brandmotion delivers elegant, high-tech mirror replacement

Ann Arbor, Michigan, October 24, 2012 – Brandmotion, which specializes in Authentic OEM™ products for today’s cars and trucks, announced that it has begun delivering the new Infinity line of OEM rear view mirrors, which will be on display at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, October 30 – November 2.

Yet, it has already won industry awards such as the 2012 Automotive News PACE Award for significant industry innovation. Brandmotion is honored to have been selected to bring this exciting new product to the aftermarket. Two of the three new Infinity models Brandmotion is marketing are paired with HomeLink® by Johnson Controls, the most recognized brand of vehicle-embedded home automation controllers. The Infinity mirror with HomeLink will be featured in Brandmotion’s 2013 Chevy Sonic in its SEMA booth.

“When we say ‘Authentic OEM,’ we mean the true OEM quality of the components we use, but also the seamless user experience as well,” said Jeff Varick, president of Brandmotion. “Consumers have trusted HomeLink for years as both a stand-alone controller and integrated into their homes and vehicles. We are delivering that same trusted experience in the Infinity line of mirrors from Brandmotion.”

The Infinity mirror replaces the factory mirror in most cars and trucks and enhances the vehicle interior with a contemporary frameless design. Three versions are available: Part No. 9002-9701 features a prismatic glass surface; part No. 9002-9702 adds tastefully integrated HomeLink controls as well as auto-dimming, which automatically dims the mirror surface when subjected to direct light, protecting the driver against light-blindness from high beams at night; and part No. 9002-9703 includes a compass display on top of HomeLink and auto-dimming capability.

At the SEMA Show, the Infinity mirror will be demonstrated in booth #11469 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. For more information, contact Brandmotion at (734) 619-1250, visit Brandmotion’s website at, or follow Brandmotion on Facebook at
