Hassle-Free Return Policy

If you’d like to return a product, simply contact us! We accept returns within 90 days from the invoice date, as long as the item(s) in question are returned in unopened, new and unused condition with the original packaging intact.  Please note, original shipping costs are non-refundable.  This policy does not apply to special order items.

Warranty & Exchange Policy

Effective May 1st, 2023, Brandmotion LLC (“Brandmotion”) warrants its products against defects in material and workmanship under normal use and services for a period of 2 years from the date of sale. Brandmotion, at its option, will exchange or replace the product during the warranty period provided it is returned in accordance with the terms of this warranty. All replaced parts or products shall become the property of Brandmotion. 

This express limited warranty is extended by Brandmotion to the original end-user purchaser only and is not assignable or transferable to any other party. All claims for damaged Products must be made within fourteen (14) days from the date of occurrence resulting in the damage and must be accompanied by the receipt for the damaged Product. This is the complete warranty for Products manufactured by Brandmotion. Brandmotion does not warrant for the installation, maintenance, or service of the Product. Brandmotion will test all products claimed to be defective. If the product is truly defective, Brandmotion at its option will exchange, replace, or refund the product. If the product is claimed defective and tests good, the product will be shipped back to the customer with a certificate that the product is good. Lastly, if the product is claimed defective but in a condition that it cannot be tested such as if wires are cut or obvious damage to the product is present, the customer will have the option to take the part back or have it scrapped for no charge, but no credit will be given.

All costs of shipping the Product to Brandmotion for inspection and all risk of loss during transit shall be borne solely by the original purchaser.  Please make sure what you send us can be tracked by the shipper.

This warranty applies within the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, and Canada. This warranty does not cover (a) defects or damage resulting from the use of the Product in other than its normal and customary manner; (b) defects or damage from misuse, accident or neglect; (c) defects or damage from improper testing, operation, maintenance, installation, alteration, modification or adjustment; (d) Product disassembled or repaired in such a manner as to adversely affect performance or prevent adequate inspection and testing to verify any warranty claim; (e) Product which has had the serial number removed (if applicable) or made illegible; (f) freight costs to repair location; (g) modifications beyond the scope of the installation instructions.

This process will be broken down into 2 separate categories for Active (Non-discontinued) products only: 

  1. New/Like-new product 
  2. Damaged/Defective product. 

To initiate any return, the customer must contact Brandmotion Returns at returns@brandmotion.com.  No returns will be accepted unless the Brandmotion RMA Number is clearly noted on the outside of the returned package.  

Brandmotion must receive all returns within 10 business days of RMA creation otherwise the RMA will be cancelled and no credit will be issued.

All products must be returned containing all essential components (e.g., cameras, mirror/monitor, brackets, harnesses, sensors, control units, module, etc.). If the product is not received back with all essential components, the product will be returned to the customer “as-is”.  Brandmotion has the right to define which components are considered “essential” as part of the kit return.

Brandmotion has absolute discretion in the form of remittance. Remittance (“refund” hereafter) is defined as return of original payment or credit equal to the value of the part less than any restocking fees that apply.

There will be no advanced exchanges or refunds given.  Customers may choose to have a new product shipped to them prior to returning the original product but will be invoiced for the new product.  Upon receipt of the returned product, the customer will be issued a full refund or credit against the replacement product.  

For products purchased through an online retailer such as Amazon.com, please see the Amazon Section at the bottom of this document.

Returns Types and Definitions

Active Product

New/Like-new Product Return

Within 90 Days of Invoice Date

If the customer chooses to return a product that they no longer want that is either in new or like new (uninstalled) condition, a full refund for the product may be issued. Customer covers all shipping charges to and from Brandmotion. 

Within 12 Months of Invoice Date

If the customer chooses to return a product that they no longer want that is in either new or like new (uninstalled) condition, a full refund less a 25% restocking fee may be issued. This restocking fee goes towards helping our team properly recycle, refurbish, or dispose of your product in an environmentally friendly way. Customer covers all shipping charges to and from Brandmotion. 

More Than 12 Months of Invoice Date

No refund will be given to new or like new products returned after 1 year of Brandmotion invoice date. 

Damaged/Defective Product Return

Within 24 Months of Invoice Date

For any claims of defective products, customers must first contact Brandmotion Technical Support (734-619-1250 option 2) or through the Tech Support Request website, and a case number must be issued. The customer covers all shipping charges to Brandmotion.

Non-defective –  the customer will be notified that no warranty credit will be given. If the customer would like the product returned back to them, they will need to provide a prepaid shipping label. 

Defective – Brandmotion at its option will refund, replace or repair the part. If Brandmotion repairs or replaces the part, the product will be shipped back to the customer free of charge and the shipping cost the customer paid will be refunded. 

Egregious Damage / Not Able to Test – If the product cannot be tested due to substantial damage to the core product or supporting products, no refund will be given and the product will be returned “as-is”. 

More Than 24 Months of Invoice Date

No warranty or refund will be given to products returned after 2 years of Brandmotion invoice date.

Discontinued Product

Discontinued products will be listed on the Price Guide on a second tab called “Discontinued”.  Discontinued products will be featured on the Price Guide for 1 year after which they will be removed from the Discontinued tab.

Discontinued products are given a 90 day return window in which they may be returned for credit. 

The product must still fall within the 12 month window from the Brandmotion Invoice date to be returned.  If it is outside of the 12 month window, it will not be accepted.

All warranties automatically void upon the discontinued date.

Miscellaneous

Kitting / Shipping Errors

Customers must contact Brandmotion within 14 days if there is a discrepancy between the shipment and order. Brandmotion, at its option will replace, refund, or repair the product.  If a product is to be replaced, the product must be returned before the new product is sent to the customer.  Brandmotion will pay for return postage for any Brandmotion-caused kit/ship error.  No advanced exchanges or refunds will be issued.

Refusal of Delivery

If any customer refuses a delivery, a $25 refusal fee will be charged without the prior consent of the customer required. Customers will be required to contact Brandmotion to make alternative arrangements for delivery. The customer will be responsible for any incurred fees associated with re-shipment. 

Purchases from Amazon.com

Brandmotion will not under any circumstances refund, repair, or replace any products purchased from Amazon.com.  Customers purchasing from Amazon.com must adhere to the following stipulations:

  1. Third Party Sellers – Brandmotion does not honor any warranties of products sold by third party sellers. Customers purchasing from third party sellers will automatically forfeit their warranty.
  2. New/Like New (Uninstalled Product) – Return to Amazon.com
  3. Damaged/Defective/Warranty Product – Must obtain a technical support case number from Brandmotion. Return to Amazon.com
