New Business Development “Sales Hunter”

Position Summary
Brandmotion, a leader in innovative automotive and fleet safety technology, is seeking a highly driven Sales Hunter to accelerate top-of-funnel growth and expand Brandmotion’s footprint across commercial fleets, upfitters, OEM-adjacent channels, and national integrators. This role is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business, building sustainable pipelines, and developing high-value relationships that support the company’s aggressive 2026+ revenue goals.
This is a fast-paced, outward-facing role designed for someone with a true hunter mentality, strong industry instincts, and the ability to convert opportunity into revenue.

Key Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition
- Proactively identify, engage, and close new customers across fleet, upfitter, OEM-adjacent, and aftermarket channels.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline with a consistent focus on high-value prospects aligned to Brandmotion’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
- Execute outbound prospecting (email, phone, LinkedIn, industry networking) to drive first meetings and discovery sessions.
- Own the entire sales cycle for new accounts—from lead generation through closing.
Market Expansion & Opportunity Creation
- Develop a deep understanding of emerging fleet, and connected vehicle opportunities to identify new verticals and revenue streams.
- Attend industry trade shows (NTEA- Work Truck Week, NAFA, Utility Expo, etc.) to discover new programs and key decision-makers.
- Partner with Marketing to refine persona targeting, content needs, and lead flow effectiveness.
Solution Selling & Customer Discovery
- Conduct needs assessments, demos, product reviews, and safety technology consultations with prospective customers.
- Work with Product Development and Engineering to relay field insights, new market needs, and solution gaps.
- Create value-based proposals and lead pricing discussions for new business wins.
Forecasting & Reporting
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, opportunity stages, and close dates in HubSpot.
- Deliver weekly new business activity reports and accurate sales forecasts.
- Track KPIs including outreach volume, first meetings booked, pipeline creation, conversion rates, and closed-won revenue.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure new customers can be fulfilled effectively.
- Align with Product Development on product configurations, new product requirements, and customer challenges.
- Work with Marketing on campaigns supporting outbound prospecting and lead nurturing.
Qualifications
- Currently working within the fleet industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field (preferred).
- 5-7+ years of demonstrated hunter experience in B2B sales, preferably in automotive, fleet technology
- Track record of consistent quota attainment driven by outbound prospecting and new business development.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to operate independently and manage multiple prospects at various stages.
- Proficiency with HubSpot CRM; familiarity with Mondays.com and Fishbowl is a plus.
- Ability to travel 25–40% as needed for customer visits, trade shows, and industry events.
