Brandmotion SurroundVUE 360 Camera System Passes ISO 16750-2

Independent validation is the latest milestone in Brandmotion’s continued investment in product qualityNOVI, Mich., October 22, 2026 – Brandmotion, a leading manufacturer of advanced safety systems for commercial fleets and the work truck industry, today announced that its flagship SurroundVUE 360 camera system has successfully passed ISO 16750-2, a rigorous international standard used across the auto industry to test how vehicle electronics hold up under electrical stress.Independent testing was conducted at TÜV SÜD in Plymouth, Michigan, and Applus+ Reliable Analysis in Madison Heights, Michigan. Brandmotion tested the complete system, including the 360 monitor, all four cameras and the ultrasonic sensors. Every component passed. The result builds on years of investment in testing, process and people. Earlier this year Brandmotion hired Justin Teems as Lead Systems Engineer, with responsibility for product quality across the line.“We’ve reached our 20th year because we’ve earned and kept the trust of great customers,” said Jeff Varick, CEO of Brandmotion. “Our systems now protect drivers on some of the highest-profile fleets in the country, and that means we must keep raising our standards. Those customers deserve proof, not promises. Passing ISO 16750-2 on the complete system is that proof, and there’s more to come.”ISO 16750-2 tests how vehicle electronics hold up under real world electrical stress, from voltage drops to load dump: the voltage spike that can surge through a vehicle’s electrical system when high load devices (such as batteries or liftgates) lose connection or suddenly reduce load on the vehicle’s charging system. For fleets, that means a camera system that keeps working through jump starts, battery swaps and the everyday wear of a hard-working truck. The validated SurroundVUE 360 camera system is shipping now.

ABOUT ISO 16750

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an independent, non-governmental body that develops international standards across industries. The ISO 16750 series define the environmental conditions electronics face on or in road vehicles and the tests used to verify them. Part 2 addresses electrical loads such as voltage fluctuations and load dump. Automakers and suppliers use the series as a common benchmark for electronic component durability.
